My newest series of paintings have been inspired by subjects and motifs of the ancient world. subjects as diverse as Egytian, Meso american art and geometry have always fascinated me and have continually inspired my drawing. 
It is through drawing that these images manifest themselves into the paintings, with the intention to create a singular, lyrical aesthetic.
I use several tools and geometrical mechanisms to achieve these aims including reflection and mirroring in order to expand the limits of the subject matter, to reveal something that would otherwise be out of sight.
